Our neck and shoulders are commonly bearers of much tension and holding patterns. How do we work with our arms and shoulders to protect our neck? How do we create space along the roof of our shoulders to counter slouching and promote freedom of movement? In this workshop we will tackle these questions by working with some of the yoga poses that target the shoulders and neck, explore therapeutic options to release tension and look at functional alignment of the upper body and actions that help to bring stability and freedom.
